          • Boost Skin Health

Like us, dog's can't produce their own Omega-3. An essential fat they need for both brain and heart health, through to soft skin and healthy joints.

          • Protect Joints

Glucosamine HCl is natural component that gives strength to joint cartilage - helping to defend against damage and keep the protective cartilage intact.

          • Support Digestion

Bacillus Coagulans is a friendly bacteria shown to reduce harmful bacteria that commonly cause diarrhoea. As well as curbing foul-smelling wind!

          • Upgraded Immune System

Zinc helps to upgrade your dog's immune system, and support good thyroid function.

            Omega-3 Fatty Acids

Omega-3 isn't just great for keeping our pup’s heart healthy, brains functioning, coats shining, and immune systems firing. Omega-3 also reduces itchy and flaky skin and can help relieve allergies and joint pain.

Like us, dog's don't produce Omega-3, which is an essential fat. Because their body can't make it from scratch, pups rely on getting it from alternative sources (via food and supplements).

This study showed that after six weeks, dogs supplemented with fish oil omega 3s showed significant improvements in itching, self-trauma and coat quality*.

            Zinc

Zinc helps upgrade your dog's immune system, soothe their skin, add shine to their fur and support good thyroid function.

This study showed that after 8 weeks, dogs showed significant improvements in itching and the severity of skin damage when given supplements containing zinc alongside glucocorticoid treatments (compared to just glucocorticoid alone)*.

            Glucosamine HCl

Glucosamine is a natural component that gives strength to joint cartilage - helping to defend against damage and keep the protective cartilage intact. As your dog ages, their bodies produce less glucosamine. So their joint cartilage (which acts as a protective shock-absorber) can become thinned, leading to joint pain.

This study shows that dogs benefitted from statistically significant improvements in joint pain and weight-bearing by day 70 when treated with both Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulphate*.

*McCarthy, G., O'Donovan, J., Jones, B., McAllister, H., Seed, M., & Mooney, C. (2007). Randomised double-blind, positive-controlled trial to assess the efficacy of glucosamine/chondroitin sulfate for the treatment of dogs with osteoarthritis. Veterinary journal, 174(1), pp. 54–61.

          • Packed with active ingredients

            Chondroitin Sulfate

Vets recommend chondroitin for pets with joint stiffness. Chondroitin is a natural component of joint cartilage. It helps your pup's mobility and supports their joints to delay or dodge future stiffness and issues.

            Bacillus coagulans (Probiotic)

            B. coagulans is a friendly bacteria shown to reduce harmful bacteria that commonly cause diarrhoea. This strain of probiotic contributes to better gut health as well as curbing foul-smelling wind from your pup!

In this study, dogs supplemented with B. coagulans also showed greatly improved protein, fat, and energy levels in the gut*. This suggests that it may have a role in helping pups to absorb more nutrients from the food they eat.

            Digestive enzymes

The role of digestion is to break down food into building block components to be used for energy and repair. So, when a dog doesn’t have enough digestive enzymes, they’ll be missing out on getting essential energy and nutrients from food. These enzymes can help to break down food in three main food groups:

            • Alpha-Amylase enzyme

An enzyme that gets to work by breaking down starches and carbohydrates into sugars. An enzyme that gets to work by breaking down starches and carbohydrates into sugars, which provide an essential energy source for your pup's brain, kidneys and other vital organs. It has a natural umami flavour that dogs love!

            • Cellulase enzyme

A digestive enzyme that breaks down fats and oils and converts them into glycerol and fatty acids for your pup's body to use as energy, to protect vital organs and support cell growth.

            • Cellulase enzyme

Another crucial digestive enzyme that works by breaking down cellulose (a type of insoluble fibre found in foods). This fibre helps to keep guts moving and healthy.

          The Timeline:

Miracles don't happen overnight. But, by keeping up with your dog's daily doses, a balanced diet, plus a few habit tweaks here and there, you'll notice your pup has a spring in their step in no time. However, even if you don’t notice a change right away, you can trust that good things are happening on the inside.

Below is a handy map of everything that's happening inside your pup as their Scooch journey unfolds.

          • Week 1

B vitamins increase energy levels, support red blood cell function and provide energy for brain cells.

          • Week 8

Zinc and Vit C support cell repair and immune function for improved tissue repair, stronger bones and cartilage and even tougher teeth!

          • Month 4

Glucosamine and Chondroitin provide the essential building blocks for cartilage in joints, helping to delay damage from daily wear and tear.

          • Month 6

Omega-3 is at work supporting eye health and mood. Together with biotin, omega fatty acids help to give hair added shine and strength.

          • Year 1+

Prebiotics and probiotics promote friendly bacteria in the gut, which studies show has far-reaching benefits to joint function, mood, skin and overall health.
